6.6.16 Sketching reportage from the streets of Paris! Inspiration for fashion and more-

Bonjour from Paris!

I have been wandering the streets of Paris this past week. It is truly a beautiful city – even in the rain!

The Seine rose 20 feet above its normal height. Many trees and signs are under water.

Paris looks like Venice! This building on the right bank is half under water

The Louvre museum is closed due to the flood.  The pyramid has been covered by a trompe l'oeil mural by the street artist JR and it looks amazing!

A view of the Eiffel Tower from the Pont Alexandre III. France's national colors of Red, White and Blue are worn by many on the streets of Paris. Red appears to be an important color for all accessories.
Even in the damp weather, the Eiffel Tower still attracts many people. My umbrella seems to be in the correct color of Red!
The Parisians love their dogs and take them everywhere!
Please note: more posts from Paris to come!

Reportage: Sexy Spring Skirts on the streets of NYC!

The women in NYC are wearing their sexy skirts on the street to celebrate the arrival of Spring weather! My illustration captures them at the Flatiron Building, 5th Avenue @ 23rd Street.
My reportage captured a wonderful flower floral skirt on a woman making the street her own fashion catwalk!

5.2.16 The Fashionisto Professor: NYC’s Cafe Society Returns for Spring!

Sunny Spring weather at the end of April brings New Yorkers outside to sit in cafes. But, the chill in the air keeps scarves an important accessory.
Hot coffee is the drink of choice!

Dogs enjoy the good weather too!
